PROGRAM GUIDELINES

Please note that all applications for assistance must come through a social worker at the hospital where the child is being treated. At the current time, we accept applications from CHOP, DuPont and St. Christopher's.

• All applications must be submitted and signed by a social worker or other medical professional.
• There must be a demonstrated relationship between the child’s illness and the financial need.
• The Family must live in the 14 county Greater Philadelphia Region (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Lehigh, Northampton, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer, Salem, Atlantic, Cape May, OceanNew Castle).
• The child must be under the age of 18 and must be dependent on parents or guardians.
• One of the caretakers must be employed (or on FMLA).
• The child must be critically or chronically ill at the time of the request and must be receiving medical treatment (not necessarily hospitalization).
